The course, SAFe POPM 5.0 is good but could be better.
Program Predictability Measure is missing. It has the PI Objective’s planned BV value assignment and that’s it! No mention of the PI Objective’s actual BV assignment (at the PI’s ‘Inspect and Adapt’)… no mention of using the ratio of actual BV / planned BV for measuring the team’s predictability.
It has a section, however, that mentioned PI objective used for determining ‘predictability without specificity‘.
Overall, teaching SAFe 5.0 today, January 18, was a pleasure! Great job, makers of SAFe!
