Your product Vision must be clear… as a Product Manager, making your Vision clear is your job… and do not do it alone… bring the right set of people to get that Clear Vision.
You are like a Photographer… you could start wide with a Wide-Angle Lens… then look for that shot… maybe the scene is too wide… perhaps a clear tight money shot is what you want.
Or… your lens (Vision) could be fuzzy at first… just like what I have, 60 years old Nikkor (Nikon) 50mm 1.2f manual lens… I had to adjust it manually… until I see the right and clear money shot (Vision)… yes, it takes time to get the right and clear shot with these old manual lenses.
Keep adjusting the lens and focus… until you get the Vision that you are looking for… the money shot… Clear Vision.
Having money shots is not a given… you have to work on it… put in effort and time, and creativity!
As a Product Manager… you need time and the right set of people to develop that clear Vision. This is not automatic… it is manual… just like… to me… when I need to put in effort and time, and creativity, when I use my 60 years old Nikkor (Nikon) 50mm 1.2f manual lens… and the shots I take are all money shots!
