Day 193. Big Design UpFront (BDUF) is a bad thing in ‘adaptive environment’... where ‘fog of uncertainty’ exists... lots of unknown... lots unseen. The wrong design could emerge as a result of BDUF... leading to incorrect solution. Where there is ‘fog of uncertainty’... it is best assume variability and preserve options... as you move forward, you inspect what is transparent to you and adapt accordingly. April 29, Sunday afternoon. It was a very nice weather -- sunny, blue skies, breezy and a balmy 67F; my family and I were at the UNCC -- University of North Carolina, Charlotte --  Science Expo.
