With coaching, the coach and the coachee are venturing in the behavioral realm: the emotions side, feelings, habits, attitudes, self awareness … social awareness …

Why is EI so important? The underlying EI data (our emotional brain), combined with the underlying IQ data (Intelligence Quotient– thinking brain’s data) can be used for better decision-making and better problem-solving; better relations with others through better social awareness…through better self management… through better self awareness.
