Culture of Shared Responsibility

As a team, we value a lot of things… example: Deliver together as a team.

This is a common Value… and must-have of a Value for any team.

This Value is also true at home and in the community. this means: No finger-pointing when the intended result was not achieved.

We are all in this journey together. We all share the responsibility of any endeavor that we have. Out of that, we will learn the lessons and we become better next time.

This “Culture of Shared Responsibility” is an especially important and essential culture to have. It is a winning team’s Culture.

Do you have this Culture?

A Culture that is driven by a Value called: “Deliver together as a team”?

Driven by a Standard called: “No finger-pointing. We all share the responsibility”?

This was demonstrated by Coach K (of Duke University) in one of their games. He said to his players (they only need to shoot one into the basket and they only have less than 3 seconds left in the game): Take the shot… if you take the shot, the load will not be solely on your shoulders… it will on all of us. They — Duke — won!

This blog post is an extension of my book “Unleash The Power Of SAFe 6.0 With Values-Driven Culture” available now on Amazon. Empty your cup to get more… much, much more content for you to consume and to share.
