Engage

Therefore, tell me:

what will engage you?

What will open the dark fields of your mind,

like a lover

at first touching? — Mary Oliver

Think about that poem when you are going to try to engage someone in any situation for any purpose: i.e. for: effective training, coaching, effective workshop, meaningful conversation, gaining attention or interest, continuous exploration, backlog refinement, DSU, PI planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint review, Retrospective…yeah, you get my drift, right?

Go on then, don’t be a bore! Figure out what will engage your target audience… what will open the dark fields of their minds … like a lover … at first touching…
