Fig Tree Bears Fruits

We have a fig tree at home. It is rooted / grounded very well… got a lot of branches and leaves… it is healthy… and get this: it bears fruits … see image below, my wife took a picture of yesterday’s (July 27, 2019) harvest… we’ve immediately shared the fruits, on same day … it is perishable in two days — just like a Business Value, it’s value/freshness is fleeting!

I always use the fig tree when I present an analogy of a high-performing team: great roots (rooted in values and principles), great leaves (self organizing, having fun, etc), produces fruits ( produces value to the company/ market place / society).
